Preparation

Ambronil Syrup: Each 5 ml syrup contains Ambroxol Hydrochloride BP 15 mg. 

Ambronil Paediatric Drops: Each ml of drop contains Ambroxol hydrochloride BP 6 mg.

Indication

Productive cough, Acute and chronic inflammatory disorders of upper and lower respiratory tracts associated with viscid mucus, Asthmatic bronchitis, Bronchial asthma with thick expectoration, Chronic pneumonia

Dosage & Administration

Ambronil Syrup: 
2 -5 years old : 1/2 teaspoonful (2.5 ml) 2-3 times a day

5 - 10 years old: 1 teaspoonful (5 ml) 2-3 times a day

10 years old and adults: 2 teaspoonfuls (10 ml) 3 times a day

Ambronil Paediatric Drops:

0 - 6 months old : 0.5 ml 2 times a day

6 -12 months old : 1 ml 2 times a day

1-2 years old         : 1.25 ml 2 times a day
